Need help!!!!

Was out for a ride and stopped thinking I wanted a drink but thought nah KEEP RIDING!!!! Went to fire the K9 back up and it wouldnt start. It tries to turn over but acts like battery is about dead. Really hard turn over then starts clicking. Hooked jumper cable up and does same thing. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE whatever you got let me know.

There must be a thousand threads on your situation. have your battery load tested and check your charging system along with making sure all your cables and wires are clean and tight. This is just a starting point.

Ok starter is junk case is broke. Came loose and vibrated apart. Anyone have one?

Sorry to hop into this conversation, but I have a '08 Ridgeback in need of a starter. My local repair guy said these starters can't be rebuilt. True? Anyway, VCW sells it for $625 but I found 2 new ones on ebay for around $300. Any advise before I start throwing money at this thing?
