Hey guys I was out riding today all was well stopped for gas went to start it and nothing, I was able to bump start it, got it home I noticed the terminals were loose I tightened them up charged the battery and it started but when I put a meter to the battery and rev the motor the voltages does not go up it stays at 12.8v

BTW it is a 2004 RB
Any help would be appreciated

I think ya may have isolated your problem... check the VR and go from there.

Does your bike have a circuit breaker, I don't know what years and up they added the CB but if you do check and see it is not tripped. Most BDM now run a 40 Amp fuse between the VR and the battery, which was the solution to a CB recall. BDM came out with a kit that included a small distribution post, to where the VR attached too and from the same post a pig tail with a 40 Amp fuse to the Battery. :2thumbs:
