Need help

Hello all,

I do realize that its best to change out the ignition switch when installing the wire plus kit( but that invloves alot of gringing to the coil cover). But my switch is still good and i really dont want to grind out my coil cover. so could someone please tell me what relay i need to tie my ignition switch into so i can run the bike. thank you.

I put my Relay near my horn in front of the battery box but behind the covers. I could not get the relay number for you. If someone else can't get this number for you I'll get in there and try and get a number next Sunday (too much work right now). The drawing is below:

You can buy an old ford tractor switch and I think it drops right into the cover. Do a search it's been discussed. I think they carry them at tractor supply and also ebay has em for about $10.

I took a look of mine. All it says is: IMC 40a/30a No other part #. The diagram from Nukeranger is right on.

With the Tractor Supply Switch, do I still need the relay.

The tractor supply part # is 0236570 orA-8N3679C i think you will still need the relay.
