Need Help

I have a 2006 Big Dog K9. The battery was dead and I put a charger on it. Before I realized it was on 200amp cranking power. I went to crank it and it didn't do anything. I have no power, no starter, no high/low beams, no blinkers. The bike will not do anything.. Can anyone help.. Not sure what I have done, but would like to ride soon.

Get a new battery. Sounds like yours is dead...putting it on a charge when it's that dead is like hooking someone up to life support after digging them up.

Speaking of life support, get a battery tender and keep it plugged in when its parked. I'd suggest a Braille battery, search the forum and you'll find a thread on them. They're a bit pricey, but end up dead away from home once and you'll never forgive yourself.

Thanks! No offense but we tried a jump box which accommodates for new battery. In the mean time I did order a battery tender but haven't been able to use it do to the bike being down..Do you think we could have fried something with the 200 amp charger?

That sounds like a lawnmower battery. Push it, don't jump it!!

Here's what I know... 13.4 Cranking Amps in the Battery.The speedo lights up, headlight comes on but will not switch to high/low dim, no power to the horn, no power to the blinkers.

This module has three green light that light up...

Description Replacement switch control module for the WP374 Big Dog retrofit wiring system. This module controls all the outputs through the switches, as well as the operation of the turn signals. If this module is operating properly the L.E.D on it should light momentarily when first powered, and also light up with inputs from the switches.

Nothing lights up on this module..

I would suggest you put a meter on the battery and see how many volts you have. Should have near 12.8 volts DC with the scoot sitting static. If it's much lower like 12.3 or even less you need to charge it up to get those cranking amps you need.

If you have the wire plus installed, heres how you start the scoot. Turn ignition key on let the speedo do it's sweep and push the start button. DO NOT push the run button, it acts like a kill switch once the wire plus is installed. Good luck

It was the control module that went bad.. Sent it to wire plus for testing. It was dead. Got a new one and now we are riding.. Battery was good.
