:bang:LIKE A DUMB ASS I STARTED SERVICING MY 08 MUTT WITHOUT FIRST READING THE HOW TO ON THIS. WELL I STARTED BY PULLING THE PLUG ON THE BOTTOM OF THE ENGINE. THEN I READ ON TO FIND OUT I WAS NOT SUPPOSE TO. CAN ANYONE TELL ME HOW TO CORRECT THIS? HOW DO I FILL IT BACK UP? THANKS GUYS. DON'T KNOW WHAT I WOULD DO WITHOUT YOU.:)

You just have to be careful not to strip out the plug when you reinstall it. They don't recommend pulling that plug because if you strip it out its not a easy fix and its not worth the risk for the amount of oil thats there. Just drain the oil tank and replace the filter and refill the oil tank, Start let run and check oil again. And don't forget to clean the tappet oil filter screen.

You also might want to fill the oil, pull the plugs, crank the engine for about 5 seconds to get oil back in the crank, check oil again, top off if needed.

I have done this before, (shouldnt have but did) any way you can add some oil back to the crankcase by putting it in thru the timing plug hole on the left side of the bike. I used a top off of a bottle of Lucas stabilizer and screwed it on the quart of oil. Does it make a dif? Not sure but i did it anyway. V
