I'm trying to figure out what to do about a headlight. I'm thinking my old stock BD headlight will be too big and clunky on this front end. I was thinking some of these PIAA 2.5" driving lights, mounted on brackets on the fork tubes. They would be pretty slick, out of the way, and would compliment the front end, but are they any good as headlights? And PIAA wants like $300 for a set, any cheaper alternatives? I also like the wave headlight Dennis Kirk sells, but I'm not sure it how it will look on my bike. Failing all else, I could just go with a run of the mill 4.5" hooded headlight. Smaller than the Big Dog light so it's not so bulky sitting out there. What do you guys think?

PIAA lights to mount on fork tubes:

Wave headlight. I'm not so sure about this one, and I think I've got a lot of fooling around to make the bracket work on my setup:

I think you need to undermount your standard bdm light.

or check out the headlight that Alhall had on his. Round but not deep bowl like the bdm.

I can tell you right now, don't get the ebay wave headlight unless you plan on making a new mount cause the one it comes with BLOWS. Also the light isn't the best. I would say if you want the wave. Get the real deal or maybe a bdm version.

check out eurocomponents and headwinds

Could even go something as simple as a black bucket hd headlight. I think the one off the cross bones would look on it.
