Hey Guys,
Anybody know of a good tuner in the IL/MO area for our bikes? Motor is about finished at Hillside Cycle and I would like to take my hard earned money to somebody that knows what the hell they are doing. Bike has Thunderheart, bored G w/ Thunderjet, 9F cam, bigger valves with headwork, 12.1 compression and Scott recommended some good fuel. Gateway Bigdog isnt too far away and ive heard good things about Valley Racing in Beecher , Il but that 4hrs away and not sure if its worth the drive? Jim Kennedy at Paradise Performance in Matton, Il has a good reputation as well. Maybe im overthinking this as its just carbed and not FI..... :bang: What you guys think ?

Stay away from Integ Big Dog in Peoria, il. If your thinking about looking north of you.

I bought my Dog at Gateway from Tim. He is good and honest with you. If anyone touches my bike, it's Gateway and no one else. They do a good job, quickly. I like them.

For my SG tuning/engine work I go to Valley in Beecher...Brian and Dave are great to work with and know what they're doing. For my K-9, Tim (at Gateway in STL) and his team are the only ones who have touched it...so, you will not go wrong with either, IMO. Gateway does A LOT of R&D on 117's to rule in what works, and more importantly, rule out what doesn't. Best of luck to you in your decision. Mzinna mentioned how quick Gateway is: when it comes to service/repair/upgrades they are like Superman in a phonebooth!

I am looking for a dyno tuner in maryland, my K9 was running great before I took it in for it's 10,000 mile maintanence but is now out of tune . It had been dyno tuned a couple years ago but in Iowa . I am having a hard time finding a place that has a dyno it will fit on and will do a K9 . So far Cycle Connection in Laytonsville is going to try and order extension for their dyno so will fit . I took it up 2 weeks ago but the Dog was about a foot too long for it and yhe same has been the case with a couple other places .
An help or suggestions would be appreciated , Thanks

Sounds like your putting a beast to the asphalt. What are you doing on the tranny side to equip it for the torgque/hp?
