I used to have a custom with a 131 ci Merch motor.
Hammer throttle burn tires off but not a daily driver.
Scare the crap out of you at 75 mph trying to pass someone and the tire starts breaking loose.
Max size motor 117 for riding. If you like to ride alot I think.

I emailed him. He says AIH only built three tribute bikes, so they had a few engines left over. He got a few.

He also said he would do a "Buy It Now" for $7000.

Sounds like a deal to me if he is legit.

I sure wish bucks weren't so tight around here. I would put one of those to good use.

So it was some lucky persons that manage to get some of the deals out of AIH during the big inventory/slant going out of buisness sale. Price sounds good if it is all what he says, just have nothing to put it in.

Hell if I was working in the sandbox, I would give it serious consideration and plan it out for a true one off custom, maybe a bobber from hell.

But since not and still taking it easy, best to hold onto the funds as much as I can. Especially since I am looking to buy a custom tube amp in the near future.

SWEET ..

Only problem is, anything connected to it won't hold up! but I still want one ..

Baker must make a better trans that would take the power. A guy would have to use a chain instead of a belt.

Just think of how much fun you could have finding the weak links!!:whoop:

I wouldn't want to put that motor in front of my baker tranny, I doubt it could hold the power without turning into shrapnel.
These guys nclaim to be working with Baker here in MI on gearing that can handle 250lbs of torque...
Gates Performance

Looks like the MI guys would like to meet there enroute to Full Throttle 5/31...

Their heads look great and their making some pretty interesting stuff.
I didn't see anything on their site about a heavy duty trans.
Looks like his heads also use the 4 bolt flange like the S&S B1 heads

Are they making parts to fit our baker trans or a complete new trans. The people at Baker told me that BDM Baker trans have a differnt bolt pattern than a regular baker trans. Im sure i will need something new motor should make around 175-180 HP

You summed it up. How far can you push the BDM trans & rear belt drive? I think ive got the clucth issue covered with a 4 inch Karata belt drive & there upgraded clutch
