Mystery Solved!!!!!!!!

As some of you know I have been battling a loss of power / breaking up and it felt and sounded like it was hitting the rev-limiter. It was happening at the same rpm every time 4-4500. I have gone through the charging system, most of the ignition system and change the intermediate and main jets. I had it to two different mechanics and Nothing helped. Heck I even called Barns performance and thunder heart. I soon realized that I didnt have the proper tools to run the ignition straight off the battery. At that point I remembered something that Andrew said, It might not be an electrical issue. That led me back to the first shop that put torque tubes in it. They thought it needed more back pressure. I had removed the cones last year but it didnt fix the issue. I pulled the plugs both were new before the test ride, after they were black as hell. So I removed the spike air cleaner and tried to pull the baffles. I had to cut a notch in the pipe and use vise grips and a hammer to get them out. The shop had welded washers on the inlet side of the baffles. This was causing excessive back pressure. I fired it up, (it sounded great) took it for a blast down the road it ran great. I hit the real rev limiter for the first time ever. But it had no mid range power. I checked the plugs and they were like new again. I put the air cleaner back on and cut the washers out of the baffles. It runs great now. The intermediate jet is a 31 and the main is a 76, this carb does not have an adjustable air bleed. It is a 2007 mastiff with the V&H drags.
Thanks to everyone that offered advice!
