This winter I did a few changes to my 2007 K9 and when I posted about it I was told my post would be better if I had pictures. Well heres the pictures and a list of the changes and why.
1. XXX Mini Taz Carburator, to get rid of that 2500 RPM DEAD SPOT
2. Karata 4" Belt Drive, mainly for the look, but the Clutch is out standing
3. Dokota Speedometer, to get rid of the boncing needle
4. Oil Cooler, because I ride in traffic every now and than
5. Fuel Filter, because the bike didn't come want one
6. Taped StainLess Creation Exhuast System to lessen the upkeep of cleaning it to keep it looking good
7. Service Manual, nice to have to refer too
8. New Front and Rear tires, I got 14.5K out of the last rear aand could have gotten maybe 1K more, but didn't want to wait to chance it when it was warm out.
NOTE: When you look over the pictures make sure you check out where I put the Oil Cooler on the down tube. Idea spot not to take away from the look of the bike. Also if you're in the NY area and need help putting on a Karata, PM me.
Did all work myself, but took wheels to shop to change the tires. Love the idea of doing all the work myself.
