My Dog is down

I was driving down the NJ parkway last night doing about 80 miles per hour and something went in the motor. I have to pull it apart. It sounded like a valve or something in the top end. I hope thats it. I hope I didn`t hurt any worse than that, So now my dog is down and my softail went down last week on the way back from west virginia. The main motor bearing went in that and took everything out with it. I ordered a used motor on e-bay. Does anyone know of anyone who does head work? I also am looking for someone to do the cyclinders for a big bore job.

somebody close to you would be andrew (bigdogtech01) or you could always go with (John Sach) not sure if john does the big bore, probably does, but he is a wizard with the heads. both members and both do great work.

follow up

I pulled the heads off and what did I find,but,the front exhaust valve broke off and took out everything in the front cylinder. Even put a hole in the top of the piston ,so now I will have to pull the whole motor to clean it out from all the metal fillings. Great fun. I`ll have to buy new heads and cylinders and pistons. What do you think it will cost me?

Parts

Can anyone give me a good idea of where i can get parts? And any ideas as far as what to do now that i have to rebuild the top end. As far as i know the bike is a stock 2005 chopper. Has a super G carb and pipes. I think thtas it though.

I would call S&S and see what they say.

You might need a crank, but a 124" upgrade might be cool.
