I was doing a pre-trip inspection the other day and found my horn danglin'. Bracket sheared right off. Looks like there are/was 2 pieces to the bracket. I assume for strength.. well that didn't work. Should I replace with a thicker/heavier one piece? Or is there a reason for 2 thin pieces? Heck do I need to put it back never used it anyway :D.

The same damn thing happened to mine. I replaced it with a similar bracket and it soon broke too! Screw. Just left the damn whimpy ass horn off. Recently ordered a new one with a little more bite. Not sure where I'm going to mount it, but I'll come up with something.

Mine broke in Sturgis last year during our group ride. I replaced it with a piece of 1/8" x 1" bar. I even painted and baked it in the over and it shouldn't ever break again!

Horn? These things have horns!
What horn,
After my bike leaving for Biketoberfest without me I’m afraid to touch any of those fucking buttons on the bars, I don’t use any of them but the run and start (for the compression releases).. My luck hit the horn and trigger some hidden LED’s…

My last bike I installed a Federal Signal Cop Horn and FEd Signal amp. I could make people shit in their pants a mile in front of me...I miss it.
