Dec 1: Bike finally arrives from out west, dirty and wont start.
Clean Clean Clean while charging the 270 CCA BDM battery. IM wondering to myself, can this be the original battery? I think it may be.
Dec 2: Take battery to work and continue the charging effort
Get home and install battery, bike fires right up, adjust carb and take her out for a spin.
Yeah baby! good power but transition from intermediate to main jet is lean and creating a snough back thru carb. No surprise really coming from 4000 ft above sea level down to Florida. Take her back to the house.
Dec 3: Remove black Hooker Troublemakers and replace with chrome V&H BR 2 into 2
Change intermediate jet to 31 and main jet to 76
Install new Champion plugs. Readjust carb.
Take her out for another spin, plenty of power and snough is gone.
Back to the house and add BDM bag to sissy bar.
Dec 4: Out for maiden ride in the Florida sun. Bike runs flawlessly and Baker tranmission is smoothest I've ever stomped on. IM impressed so far and really like all the attention you get on this bike. Cool, very cool.
Life is good....real good
