my 04 runs and dies

ok took ecm to shop in okc they sent it to kansas they said it was ok said it was ignition so pulled it and replaced stiil has problem did find a loose conection on the off run softpad on handlebars thought maybe shaking it loose repaired that .. after it sits it resets and red light on the ecm will come back on ... this morning i thought it might be coil so i just turned key on let it sit sure enough it shut off after a few minutes .. i still think its the ecm .. shop in okc wont loan me one to see if thats the problem but they will sell me one with no problem .. is there something i am missing overlooked ???? thanks

Sounds like it could be the timing sensor.
