Mutt, good fit????

Being 6-5 ansd 220 lbs....I looked at the Mutt last weekend and kind of liked it....I'm going to ride one soon....but wondering if that would a better fit rather than a K9 or Ridgeback??...Handling will be better, I know that....and the price is right...lol......thoughts???...thanks, RED

Hey RED BULL, Just to give you some heads up on size. I 'm 6'3" 240 and the 08 ridgeback fits me perfect!!!! No stretching to reach the bars or forward controls. Personally I think with your size you might be better off with the K9 or Ridgeback.

Given your height, it only makes geometric sense to go with more of a stretched out bike like a K-9 or Ridge? But ultimately, if the mutt works for you, go with it :up: ......

Ride em all, (if ya need more legroom, get the forward controls), and get the one that fits you best.

what ever you get you should get the 2.5" forward control extentions...I'm 6-2 and ride the chop with extentions fits like a glove...'no pain...no pain' I always say...

6"6", 235 here, ride a bulldog with forward controls. No complaints.

I'm 6'5" 230 and the K9 is a good fit with the 2.5 extended controls, but I'm looking to stretch out further when 4" forward controls become available. I'm thinking that the mutt would fit the same way. IMO.

I'm 6'3" 230lbs and I like the way my Ridgeback feels especially with the extended forward controls. But in the end it is your choice. Along with everyone else I suggest you ride as many as possible and get the one you like. I haven't ridden the mutt but I know the pitbull and the mastiff were a little cramped to me. Just my .2 worth. Just don't get one you sort of like because of price or what anyone else says. You will regret it. Take your time and you will find a good deal on the bike you want.

I'm 6'4" and I have ridden a Mastiff and IMO you are gonna get sick of the Mutt really fast. I ride an 05' chopper with extentions and love it. Go K9 or Ridgeback!

There is a good deal on the Mutt now with the BDM rebate but. I think you would appreciate the Ridgeback or K9 more. I'm 6'1 and have ridden the mutt and it fits me okay but its at the limit. Got the Ridgeback and that fits well.
Definatly ride each and that will tell you need.:2thumbs:

I am 5'11" and felt cramped sitting on a Mutt. I put the 2.5" extensions on the Mastiff and it feels much better.

THANKS EVERYONE!!!!!.....this is an awesome forum...you guys and gals rule!!!!Yeah I'm with all you guys on the K9 or Ridgeback....I will ride all the bikes I'm interested in and then decide.....I wish there was a dealer close to me that rented dogs.....that would be awesome.....Harley does it why not Big Dog??....good way to get people to buy and get the right bike.....anyway....thanks for your help all.....luv the chat on here....even as an 08 HD Road glide rider..lol...RED
