Mounting your exhaust to your trans

Anyone ever do this? I'd like to attach it to the 2 bolts behind the oil line in the pic. Here is what I'm dealing with. Thanks.

Mine is attached to the second trany case bolt (lower) in your first picture... no problems

Most of the time when they do, the exhaust is designed to do that. If you had a guy like Eric at Choppin Steel near by.. you could have a bracket made.

Mario -- I just fabricated one up with chrome parts and spacers I had around.

Mario, just wait and I'll get you a pic of my bracket. You'll like it. It mounts around the frame.

Thanks Rainman. I'd rather attach it to the trans and not put any marks on the frame just because I have a tendency to switch out the exhaust.

You won't leave any marks if you use some rubber on the the bracket. Besides the powder coating is tough enough.
