My wife would probably like that crazy shit! She's always trying to get me to go Hot air balooning! Not me, I rather keep my feet on the pegs and hands on the grips! Pretty cool though!

Your right! Never thought of that! Once your up there your at the mercy of mother nature, and if she ain't in a good mood your screwed! When I ride "I" control it all with a twist of my right hand! Lol!

Nice thought, however, you have no control over the person coming at you. When your up there what's the chances of running into someone? Zippo, however what goes up is definitly coming down, and being in a body bag is not a good start

Actually, I started out motorcycling and then got into hang gliding for 20 years. Now that I'm back motorcycling, I can definitively say that hang gliding is actually much safer than motorcycling.

With everybody on their cell phones and texting when driving, I really think the majority of motorcycle accidents are now caused by inattentive car drivers. When hang gliding all the accidents are caused by the pilots misjudgments and inexperience.

Having done both. I can also say that there is nothing like the adrenaline rush when you're going up at over 1000 ft./m in one of our standard desert thermals!
