I was so tired of dust on my bike after I would spend hours polishing it! Even with the Big Dog motorcycle cover I was still getting dust on it before I could even get the cover back on it? I found this motorcycle capsule online at carcapsule.com, and I was skeptical at first but after recieving it and setting it up this weekend, I have to say this thing is f*cking awsome! It is stong enough to bounce a hammer off of it, just like they advertise! Its a little bigger than the dimensions they give when its blown all the way up, but it gives you plenty of room for the Dog! You can even get inside of the capsule when its blown up to polish the bike if you are crafty enough! It keeps circulating fresh air in and out 4 times per hour. Considering a Big Dog form fit cover is $200, the motorcycle capsule is not that overpriced at $300.00, if you have the room I highly suggest one of these! :up:

Ride it like you stole it
since you say it is a bit bigger will a mastiff fit in the 8 footer? Or will I still need to 12 footer?

Im not sure thats why I order the 12 foot one?
It would be close, but I think you could fit it in the 8 footer.
The wheel is usally turned enough to get some extra clearance in the front..

That's great for the garage if you have the space, especially for winter storage. You'd probably even have room for a low heat space heater inside the 12 ft'er, if okay with the mfg'r.

What about pullover covers for overnight travel? I'm not a big fan of company "logo" covers. I think they're just an advertisement billboard and invitation for potential thieves:eek: . I like "out of sight, out of mind" (anonymous) covers...what's more important, the cover or your bike?

Has anyone bought a cover from California Car Cover Co. and if so, how did it work out for you? I looking for something big enough to cover a K9 with 12" sissy bar. Thanks for any input! :cheers:

I move mine in a cargo trailer out of site and mind. I put a shit load of blankets, comforters ,stuff pillows in between the two bikes and the sides i have so much cover and protection if 1 of the 4 tie downs i put on each front end of bike comes loose no damage....:roll: :roll: :roll:

Best motorcycle cover yet..

I made a mega investment of $17 for my motorcycle cover from Wal Mart. Bring a couple bungee chords with, and my 07 Mastiff is protected from the ravages of the parking lot. I kept it overnight in St. Louis on Monday when it was pissing down, and the bike was just fine after taking the cover off. It fits in my bag as welland has a carry case. No problems to date! Keeps the condensation out as well. Using it now on my little half country tour. I've used it on camping trips with my other bike. It doesn't look fancy, but who cares? I've had mine for 3 years, and it still works just fine. Good ole Wally World. I made sure to wear my fancy sweatpants. This was the 'classy' Wal Mart. Mind you- this is for travel purposes.

I was in St. Louis because my old army buddy and his family live there, so I planned an overnight stop to catch up and say hi. haven't seen them in a few years. He was the only guy who would ride with me, rain and shine. He hopped on his V-Rod and rode with me to Jefferson, then had to head back to pick his kids up. Some of the other 'bikers' we knew were afraid to put miles on their garage queens...or get chilly. :rolleyes:

Now I'm in KC with my girlfriend until the 23rd, then I'm heading back to NC via Ft. Leonard Wood for some visits.
