First test of my new aerial drone's auto follow feature while I'm riding my 2006 Texas chopper. Keep in mind this was the first test and it was far from dramatic, but what I learned will help make a much more dramatic follow-up drone video.

That is so cool that it would follow you around like that. to work on its speed is next, eh?
I saw one of those things hovering over the crowd at The Strand in Galveston at the Lone Star Rally last Friday afternoon. Took a video with my cell phone but it is hard to see. Like a gnat buzzing around.

Pretty cool, just needs to be able to do at least 55 mph so it can really take cool shots! Definitely has potential though!

Latest software update allows the drone to go up to 22 miles an hour in this follow me mode.

Keep in mind, this is relatively new and I'm sure future updates will be increasing the speed.

In other flying modes where I am in direct control of the model, right now I think I can get it up to about 40 miles an hour!
