A motorcycle crash at midnight yesterday in rural Callaway County killed a New Bloomfield man.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol identified the victim as Philip B. Kunz, 38.
Kunz was riding a 2007 Big Dog motorcycle south on Route J when he missed a curve at County Road 356, traveled off the right side of the road and struck an embankment. The impact threw the rider from his bike.
Kunz had been wearing a helmet, the highway patrol said.
