Missing Summer - Red Rock ride - Oct 2012

I'm missing summer and wish it would warm up just a little. Here are some pics from a ride I went on in Oct 2012 while it was still nice out. Red Rock Canyon is in Las Vegas about 10 minutes from my house.

I've ridden Red Rock a couple of times. I'll get out to Summerlin next August and while my daughters are seeing One Direction, I'll be riding !

Thanks for sharing. I've always thought the southwest is some of this country's most beautiful landscape...and I think I saw Wile E. Coyote and the Roadrunner in one of those pics

I was out there in 2011. Rented a Harley from Eagleriders and did Lake Mead, Hoover Dam and Red Rock Canyon. Sure is beautiful out there. I live in the prairies where everything is flat .This was a real treat. Last year i rented a Harley for 2 days and toured Yosemite National Park. Just beautiful. Every year i plan a trip somewhere. Nice pic's.

How was your experience with Eagleriders? I have a buddy flying out and he wants to rent a bike so we can go riding.

I did almost the same thing ....for a east coast rider its a treat also ! :2thumbs:

Eagleriders in Vegas was awesome to deal with. There was a lady manager and she couldn't do enough for us. Rented from Eagleriders in Los Angeles and they were aweful. Didn't get the bike i wanted. The clutch was gone on it. They reneged on everything they promised us. When i returned the bike and told them the clutch was gone, they just put it back in the line up for rent the next day.
