So where the heck have I been!!???...:confused:
I have been thinking lately Hmmm I haven’t posted very much on BDB lately….. WHY???? Is it because the Chrysler bankruptcy caused the dealer I work at to close after 30 + years of family business and put me out of a job for the first time in 25+ years?…:angry: :rant: :down: Nope that has just been the past 6 weeks…..
Is it because I am just too busy to read the posts and type replies..?? :D I don’t think so….
I was talking to Gas several weeks ago and mentioned the same thing and I remembered Part of it could be that I have had no issues with my bike that have required a post to ask for assistance… :2thumbs: :2thumbs: That’s a good thing Thanks again to Beezer for some excellent work last fall… And some of it could be that I have been out riding A LOT lately with no work and all…
But alas… all good things must end... Started a new job yesterday :whoop: so GAS when you are near Mcinerney’s stop in and say hi... :hi: and now I can read and post during lunch… I got a lot of catching up to do… :eek:

I am still laid off...but I heard some shit that we might be getting called back sometime this month....like the 3rd week of July or so:zwhistle: still sending out the resume's....yep I have never been off of work this long....and I have been in Plastic Injection Molding for over 20 years now....also I am trying to get out of the automotive industry...

Yea... I'm back at a dealer... I put in 2 apps the day our dealer was put on "the list" May 14th... Our owner said we would stay open after the June 9th deadline as a used car dealer... then on the 2nd of June we were told that the 9th would be our last day....:angry: :rant:
Took a job @ a Ford dealer after none of the Chrysler dealers were hiring and told them i would start on the 29th.. Then Mcinerney's Called on Monday the 22nd and asked when i could start.:2thumbs: ...
So back to Chrysler/Jeep/Dodge i went we will see how long Chrysler stays afloat...:confused:

Good to hear your working for "Hoot" I have some friends that swear by his dealership, after all he is been around forever. I just got a new gig at our plant with 2 new 4 cyl. engines that will be coming out, the tiger shark and the fire engine. They will be a nice new concept between chrysler and fiat, but if they don't sell then we will be in trouble. The new trenton engine plant lost 2 of there 6 cyl. engine projects because it seems the 4 cyl. is the future which is good for my plant. I have to go back to a 5 day a week 8 hour a day operation after working swing shift for the last 5 years but it will only be for maybe a year then back to swing if cars sell. Good luck John, its about time things start turning around here.
