Kinda odd! I was kicking this mid peg thing around myself. Still investigating it. My theory but not 100% sure, is that mid pegs, or controls, would be sort of dangerous when leaning into a turn. If not digging in the pavement, it would definitely rub. I'll post if something comes up.

thanks, would have to change inner and outer primary or go to belt drive.will be very expensive.maybe just use some shifter and brake pegs and make a bracket.just need somewhere else to put my feet when they get tired.mid controls look kool though.thanks again.

you might be able to do it without changing your primary. Need to do it properly though.

Performance Machine (whats the kids name?) is making mid-controls. Don't know how they mount but might be worth looking at.

Want a place to put your feet?

Raywood rests his feet on the passanger foot pegs.

If I did that the bike would fall over before I got em back off. But it is an option for your younger or nimble riders.

Mid controls will kill your knees! Most if not all of you guys have to be taller than me and I hated mid controls. Keeping your legs bent on long rides hurt like heck every time and seriously, I am way short so it shouldn't even been that bad.

I wish I had more money.
Im with Ray. I put mine on the passenger pegs for a while and then back to the forward s.

I'm seriously looking into Mids for the Chopper. You have better control with your feet under you & it is much easier on your back (for us not so young folk)
Forward controls look cool, but the tradeoff is your lower spine. Ride I-70 across Kansas on a rigid and you will probably agree.

Jesse Jame "History of the Chopper" covers this when they talk about "Frisco Style" bikes.
