Well we rode up north to St. Ignace just over the Mackinaw bridge with 10 other bikes from Thursday thru Monday. Groundpounder road his Bigdog K9. Srodden and Seatmaker rode their Harleys. Bro2 and I rode the 2015 Victory Magnums. I had my wife along for the ride so I had the rear tour pack trunk installed. We left from Hell MI. around 8:30am and had lunch in East Tawas as we rode up the East side of the state once we got past Saginaw. We arrived at St. Ignas around 8pm. One shot of rain on the way up so we put on the rain gear for awhile. Some of the guys rode day trips in the U.P. but the wife and I took the ferry jet boat to Mackinaw Island for a day. We all went to the local casino to play and eat on the Saturday rain day. Came back down on the west side of the state on Sunday and stayed the night at Portage Lake, south of Sleeping Bear Dunes. Drove back to Hell area on Monday. Had lots of fun a few delays and rode a total of 770 miles. I will post some pics or video when edited. Nice to be home.

Here is some video of the trip.

That trip to the U P is on my bucket list. I have always wanted to cross the bridge on a motorcycle. Looking forward to seeing the pics.

Frank, when you do. Ride up the west coast, hit the thumb, then across to Mackinaw. You will remember it forever. Start at St. Joe.

Thanks Rick. I will do that. One goal would be to avoid Frankenmuth. I can do without all that.
Agreed. You can get fudge anywhere. New Buffalo, St. Joe, South Haven, Saugautuck, Grand Haven, Pentwater, Manistee, DO NOT MISS Leland, Traverse City, Charlevoix, Petosky - all on the way to Saint Ignace. Just map the route and don't make a plan. Pay attention to the Blue Star Highway.

Sounds like fun! How do you like Victory? I was sitting on one and thought it felt much roomier than a HD for a tall guy.
