Sounds good huh? Uh.....nope. It wont cut rubber cause it givez too much. Perhaps a plastic cutter..... ya know, like a heated tightly wound wire? How about a block or jack plane with a real sharp blade.
Well, they don't make those for Big Dogs only. And they do mention on their site the 300 tire is between like 285 and 315. Or somethingThank you all but why are they selling these tires if you have to modify them when Avons run perfectly?
Metz has rather large tolerance on the tires too...I don't think everyone had problems with the metzlers . A lot of people but not all.if my frame is square my tire is aligned properly with evenwear.
If you have access to a lathe you can shift the wheel a tad to the left and that helps.
What pressure do you run in the tire?Just got in from garage and just noticed crack on sidewalk of Metzler tire I just installed this, has less than 300 miles on it looks like dry rot! What do you guys did this now?
Who cares..I used a rasp on both the Metz and the Shinko to remove about 4mm, I had it up on the jack and just spun the tire as I rasped it until I had a radius on the tire instead of the point on the side wall
I think its the 21 week of 2016Guru, I run 40 in front and 42 in rear. Looks like 2116 on sidewall, don't know what that means.
