Metzeler quit making a 240?? ME880??

Only one I can find is ME888 in 240/40/18. Anyone ran one of these yet?

Actually they are phasing out the ME880, Ordering the 888's now.

What is the difference in the 880 and 888's?

Supposed to be higher mileage, but better grip.

I tried two of the Metzler ME880 tires (300mm), first one I only got 4,600 miles and the second one 4,300 miles and they were bald when I replaced them. Hopefully the new ME888 will be better.

Thanks Scott. I'm embarrassed to say that my K9 wheels are aging out before wearing out. Probably have to replace them this spring.

This last one lasted me almost three years, and I rode it a lot, just rode a lot easier. Mostly with wife on the back.
