I have a 6x10 enclosed trailer and my K-9 fits in there nicely. My question is, will 2 bikes fit in a 6x10? I'm looking at another bike,(not a jap bike :) ) a bagger, and was wondering if anyone has tried to, or has seen someone fit them side by side.

Thanks

I put a 2006 Mastiff and a 2005 Harley Super Glide Sport into a 6x12 trailer. It was tight because the chocks were not offset enough.

I personally like the HallMark Low that I have for two Bikes. I had a 6 X 10 and did not feel very comfortable with loading two bikes on one axle and no brakes or at least mine did not have brakes. With the Hallmark I have two axles and brakes which is of big help for stopping. But if they fit and you don't mind, looks like it will work.

Have loaded a 2004 Bulldog and a 2001 Nightrain (with saddle bags) in a 6x10 V-nose no problem. Chocks are offset by 10". Leaves ~ 4" around ad I load the Nightrain first. Don't think I could load two baggers without them touching.

also, with two axles, if 1 tire blows, you still have 3 to keep you up and in control.
Very true, happened to me with 6 animals on the trailer. it all depends on the value of the contents of the trailer. yours to decide, I personally wouldn't have any value in a single axle trailer.

I have a 6 x 12 Haulmark Low/RT and Have put 2 bikes in it staggered. I wanted a single axle so I didn't have to get it inspected in Pa. However I ordered it with brakes which took the GVW to 3500#but I still registered it under 3000#. I didn't want it coming around in an emergency stop.

Another consideration is the GVWR for a single 3500 pound axle 6 X 10 or 6 X 12. With 2 bikes ( a Dog and a bagger ) you're really close to the weight capacity of the trailer.

I've loaded my pit along side Rocky's Mastiff, but had them facing opposite directions so the handlebars didn't come close to one another.

Slightly off subject, but did you put that floor down or did it come that way?

Thanks.

In the great old commonwealth of Va. if you have brakes, no matter the number of axles, you have to have them inspected.
