Long time member @amylulu1 needs our collective help. She's battling Bladder Cancer and is facing some serious financial burdens.

Amy has always been here for us, looking up build specs and paint codes, getting parts quotes and ordering what we need. She bends over backwards for us so, I'm asking you if she's helped you out in the past, seriously consider returning the favor.

We have you in our thoughts and prayers Amy!!!

I've had the privilege of metting Amy a few times and she's always been very willing to help. She has the Big Dogs back over there at Strokers.

I'm happy to offer my very minimal contribution to this cause and I hope others who have had the pleasure of talking to her do the same.

Tim, thanks for bringing this to my attention. I just ran into her with Rick and Rodger a few months ago and couldnt even tell she had health issues.

While on vacation down in Texas, I had the opportunity to run down to Stroker's, and When I asked about Amy,the little chick at the sales counter directed me to where she would be. I walked in to her office, (unannounced), and introduced myself and wife to her. That sweetheart just dropped everything she was doing and gave us a tour of the whole operation, including making sure to introduce us to Rick and the whole crew. That gal is about the sweetest person I've ever had the opportunity to meet ! Prayers for her positive outcome and wishing only the best for her. Love ya Amy LuLu !!

Link is in the first post it's using the "youcare" platform. It automatically suggest to donate $3 to youcare website but you can alter it.

The link takes you to the you are website, and the $3 suggested is for a donation service fee, as the website passes all funds to the recipient, if I understood it correctly. Reasonable, compared to what most similar operations charge.
Easy to do, I finished my donation is less than 3 minutes. This is definitely a situation where our community can make a difference---a big difference.
Tim, Chubs, Liferider and of course Th3Infamous1 are correct about Amy being an outstanding human being. She understands the importance of connections and is always there to help, as well as take time to make all of us who call or visit feel pretty special.
Everyone who can, please step up.

Amy has been very helpful to me also when I first took home my Dog and I pray for her recovery. I'm headed to the donation site to donate right now. Family comes first in my playbook.

Done,

I pray for you Amy.

I have been trying to be very diligent about personally thanking all of my benefactors, but I do want to make sure that everyone knows how appreciative I am of your support, love, and generosity while I'm going through this crap!!

If you don't know what's going on, here's the condensed version:
I first had a tumor in my bladder in 2015. I did an outpatient surgery, had it removed and bam! I was in remission. It was almost too easy. This time Cancer said- whatever lady, I'm going to make it as tough as possible for you! I was diagnosed in February and had surgery on March 16th. The doctor said that there were more tumors in my bladder than he had ever seen in his career. He was not able to get the big one. He referred me over to a colleague and said that if anyone could do it, it would be him! So, I had another surgery on 3/31 and unfortunately, the tumor was entirely too big for the doctor to remove it all. My only option is to have the open surgery to remove the entire bladder and some other organs around it. (girly parts--hell, I don't use them anyway- just take 'em!! LOL)

I truly am anxious because my life is going to change in a myriad of ways; however, I know I am going to be ok. Others are suffering far greater than I am and I think of that a lot when I try to have a pity party.

I hope I get to see everyone in June here at Strokers!! I would love to hug everyone's neck. And maybe make a few off-color jokes and just be all around inappropriate, LOL! Can't wait to have a beer or two with you! Thanks again and much much LOVE!!!
