Mean mothers on a ridgeback

My stock pipes were punched out two years ago and the pipes have slowly deteriorated. The dealer says punching out the baffles makes the pipes structurally deficient.

Anyways, I found someone local that's selling their mean mother pipes. His pipes were on an 05 mastiff. I have an 05 ridgeback.

1. Would the pipes be compatible on my ridgeback?
2. Would it need a different mount bracket?

Anyone ever ran with mean mothers? How'd they work out for you? :up:

My local riding buddy has Mean Mothers on a 2005 Ridgeback. They really open up the bike, and sound great, too.

I have Mean Mothers on my 05 Chopper. They are ok, it came with them. The only thing wrong is the heat shield mounts are breaking off; I have heard the same from others too.

I've had mine on my 05 Pit since new and had no problems. I think the 05 Mastiff may have had a 250 tire and the hard tail bikes had a 300 so the bracketry may be different.

?? Anybody with a 05 Ridgeabck can confirm a 300 tire ??

The 05 Ridgeback uses 193-000009-01 as the Mean Mothers setup and the 05 Mastiff uses 193-000008-01.

Couldn't tell you what the difference is between the two though. Good chance its the mounting bracket.
