Maximum weight for rider/passenger on 06 K9

Well I'm pushing about 300 myself ad had passengers up to a 160 on the back with luggage for several hundred miles with no real issues.
The others had it rihgt -- no hot dogging, check the strut bolts (maybe carry a spare or two), set the shocks all the way up and you'll be good to go.
Most likely she'll complain about the pillion pad long before any issues arise.

in da 05 manual it shows all models having a gvwr of 1085 with 390 lbs in front and 695 lbs in rear so you should be good

My wife is kinda weirded out about the suck tion cups coming lose. She rode with me about 12 miles, smooth roads. The seat stayed stuck better than I would have thought it would have.. I would get on the scooter , both of you,, and see if anything seems to be rubbing or possibly rubbing before I would take a chance... no way to remember the 30th anniversary a trip to the hospital.. and a dog down!!
