I only have one running bike but it should make it. Really need a cross country ride. May take two days to get there as 13 hours of riding forces me to ride down from Mountain View at night. I hate hunting deer at night at 80mph. No one wins that exchange and the impact can ruin the meat. Looking forward to a beer in Oil Trough Ar.

Are we looking at Sept 18 thru 23 or something like that?

Hah! Since I live 25 minutes from Dave and Buffy’s in Gentry, I’m all in. Pretty sure Blacktopper will be there too. Last year we planned to ride back to Bentonville and stay at my house, but we got ‘rained in‘. Not too smart to be night riding in rain on rural AR roads, so Dave And Buffy saved our butts by letting us stay in one of their trailers. Looking forward to seeing everyone.

Hey folks....got a question for those attending the shindig.
Whats some favorite candies of y'all? Maybe something you can no longer enjoy due to...I dont know....old age, lol. The freeze dryer can make some of those enjoyable again. I have a few to bring but would like to bring something for everyone.

I’m with Shannon on this one lol. . heres My two Harry, ice cream samiches and big block of cheddar from Sam’s and make the real cheese chips. Skittles ain’t bad outta them things as well.

Ice cream is easy. Havent played with cheese. Ima try some cubes cause I aint found a chipper yet.... Skittles are good. Ivs done a bunch of em. Found a few candies that surprised me. Some were a just a mess. Keep em coming.

Alrighty folks, I have no running bikes @ the moment but lets start planning this yrs bash! We are about 5 months out. Im gonna ship a frozen box to Daves as it gets closer. Gonna send a cooked brisket, racks of ribs, bacon n hot dogs. I figure this will give us a good start on grub. What say everybody? Who's planning on being there?

I bought a freeze dryer. Ive been playing. Meat wont be freeze dried but just cooked n frozen. I'll have some freeze dried treats as well. Whatcha like to see Eric? Im doing a candy batch as I type.

Edit: ahh you meant the bikes. Pit is just being a bitch and the yellow chop got no motor @ the moment. Josh getting it done tho so it wont be long.

Dang it Chong! You would pick one of the few things that wont freeze dry. Butter, peanut butter, chocolate just dont get the effect. They sit there ..........and when they are done its no different.

Really, cause I freeze reese's peanut butter cups all the time -- They get hard as a rock -- especially the big ones like the easter bunnies!

I understand, I was expressing my surprise actually -- Personally, I've never tried to freeze dry anything and don't use anything that has been freeze dried come to think of it. Think the last freeze-dried thing I used was making instant Coffee for my father MANY MANY years ago.
It's one of those things I know nothing about other than it exsts and they use it for instant coffee.

They are crazy but keeping em under wraps till the party.. I can brew you up a fresh batch of freeze dried coffee if you would like? Wont be decaf tho...

I'll see what it takes to make a batch. I got a feeling its gonna be an ordeal.....gotta grind and brew, then try not to spill it all in the regular freezer, then hope its decent? Man...all for a silly cup a joe. Im outta coffee @ the moment so I'll go sees what I can find.
