mastiff owners info needed

any help with dos and donts how many miles till i refuel?
i own the07 mastiff and i want to get comfortable, my last bike was a ridgeback
lost it in an accident... any help or info i appreciate

Any mods done to the Mastiff? I normally go 80 to 100 miles, depending how I have been riding.

I have a 600 cam, xxx carb, and Supertrapp 2-1 exhaust so I like to roll over the throttle.

100 miles is a good number to start looking for stations. I usually hit reserve at the 140 mark. Only thing I've done to my scoot is put in a 585 cam, spike air cleaner and rejetted with a 31int /78main.

I start looking when I hit reserve at about 130 to 140 miles. Usually have about 40 or so miles left at that point.

the mods are baker open primary..wimmer spike vance and hines pipes cam done i bought it with these mods its pushing 125 hp...the only other question?? my ridgeback had 250 rear turn radius became easy my mastif i thought turns would be easier but with a 300rear
id like to know how to get comfortable quickly i ride with aclub as a prospect thats all i will say i respect this forum and im happy to talk with big dog owners

You just got to get out there and put some miles on it Nick. You'll get used to it.

I agree with Mike......just go slow at first and put some miles on. In a few hundred miles you'll be scraping pipes and pegs in the turns.

i get 100 to 125. i just fill up when it hits 100 -- 585 cam
