Mastiff Kickstand - Need Help

Hi All,

Long time member and need some advice. I ride a 2006 Mastiff. Original kickstand was replaced by good local shop. They used a Bikers Choice (I believe) model. The new stand was a bit short but I lived with it. After only a few rides, the spring on the kickstand snapped off completely (beware).

Luckily, I was idling at a stop but still scary to know it could have happened any time. That spring was just under designed for the kickstand. The shop was great and replaced the spring but had to rig it as it wasn't a direct fit. Candidly, I appreciate the fix but not sure I trust it. I am going to get a whole new unit for peace of mind.

What kickstand brand and model number is a fit and should I go with for this bike? I have done my own search but I would rather get good advice from the forum.

Thanks,
Jerry

I also went through this a while ago... Arlen Ness makes a replacement stand and it has an internal spring. American made and a far Superior product than factory. I will post the model # on Monday, because all my receipts are at the shop.

Here's what your looking for on the Ness: 26-3200

Might want to call Bikersdream, they might have them in stock also... :2thumbs:

I use the Arlen Ness and it works great. I still have the stock one as a spare just in case this beauty decides to take a dump on me.

You can also get a Chrome HD spring that will work, can't remember the years but they have a ring on each end. $10-15
