I thought I will mention that there are two different peg mounts.
No risers needed with correct (maybe they are the later model) ones.

Franco has mounts that you have to use risers on to clear that exhaust.
I have both sets and that is how I know.

Yep, and my rear pegs are facing correctly so no issues at all!

If you enlarge Franco’s pic, and rotate his peg mounts 180*, remove the riser, his peg would be back further and at the same hieght it is now without the riser.

That is correct Kevin like i have said there are two different peg mounts.
I'm working away at the moment so can not take pics of them as I have both of the mounts at home.

However these will work.

You most likely have a set of these which won't work with your exhaust.

Cool! I didnt know Derek & Donna had them too... It always has been my understanding those elevators were made by Curtis!!
