TRUE COLORS COLLISION
i have been told by someone high up in the plate making buisness that maryland will be resizing its tags in 2 months, but i do remember about a month ago someone from maryland askin where they can get there tags shrunk,i have known these guys since dirt and they made me a 4x7 blank that is coated with the reflective material they then reproduced the word maryland and laid my letters out on tag,it now fits into my bracket and all is legal and well if you need this done go to flea market at north point blvd in good ole dundalk and go to SUMMITT SIGNS AND GRAPHICS,which is right where you would walk in facing directly across from walmarts front doors, ask for bernie or tom tell them jimi sent you..now just because they are passin this law definately dontt mean all of a sudden we will have new tags mailed to us free of charge,i am sure this is a cheaper way out

Big Dog Biker test account
Hey Jim, my best friend is a high level employee at the DMV. I asked him as well as a couple of State troopers about how legal it was for me to cut down my plate to fit in my bracket. According to the troopers, as long as the stickers are clearly displayed, the ID numbers are displayed and there is no sign that you are trying to conceal anything, that they have no problem with it. According to my buddy at the DMV, he saw no problem with trimmimg the plate down to fit. He agreed with the troopers that as long as no evident attempt to concel anything exsisted then there should be no problem in any legal way. Now if the info you got about the smaller plates ( about time) is good then I can't wait to get my new personalized plates when and if they do. I have to admit, your downsizing concept is very cool. I did the same sort of thing for one of my riding partners. We photgraphed his original plate in high def photography, resized it to fit his Bulldog frame and then he had it laminated to protect it and it looks every bit as real (without removing it from the frame) as the real deal including the 3-D depth look.
