So what have you been averaging for PSI, got any seat time since the install?

I was reading some threads about an Autometer that sits right on top of the tappet hole. I think it was $40 or so.

The PSI may surprise you, it did me. Start Up Cold it was 30 to 35 psi at idle (Mobil 1 20-50 @ 70 degrees), as she warms up it went down to almost nothing 5 psi when it’s at operating temperature at idle. I was contributing the low oil pressure reading to possible air in the line between motor and gauge (oil light never came on) engine sounded normal so time will tell on that. Normal ridding PSI is about 20 to 40 PSI with engine at operating temperature @ 40 to 70 MPH. I just feel better being able to see pressure on the engine other that depending on a light. The cost is a little high but what isn’t on our dogs.
