According to the Clerk of Courts website, he had a pre-trial conference and the next is scheduled for 12/6.

There has been several pre trial meetings and they are simply a way for scumbags to use up our taxpayer money while the judges and lawyers milk the system . All have been very minor and the prosecutor rarely requests we attend. Some day soon I hope they run out of options of delaying justice. The Defense at and the family rquested last month for a meeting with us which was promptly sent back to the prosecutor with a Hell No only in court answer. I couldnt see any good coming from a meeting with that scum bag and his family.

Defense was hoping for a plea bargain. I imagine they were testing the waters to see if there was as price that made this go away along with a severly reduced sentence. Glad to see the family didn't budge, can't put a price on it. Money aint shit

There is a shit load of support for you here on the forum, I am wondering if you could acquire an email addy for the judge and prosecuting attorney for us to begin an email campaign to let them understand that this may be challenging considering the local influence this scumbag and his family have, however there is a much wider audience observing the proceedings and will be mobilized to draw enormous scrutiny of their small town bullshit if the justice system fails to act appropriately when a fellow biker and LEO is killed by a drunk driver. We would all need to remember that an email would be sent to the Judge and the lawyer representing you, so no inflammatory language, simply a straight forward notice that many eyes are watching and there will be wider ramifications if power/money/influence results in a miscarriage of justice.

Wow, This is some heavy stuff, Ill have to check with the DA and there legal team to see. They want to get this scumbag very badly and feel like that is exactly what will happen. Just a little FYI. .All the legal team members agree that no deal will be made for a lessor charge.I think it sound like a good thing to do myself , just like you said to let them know others are watching.
