Major Belt Alignment Issue for somebody!!!

I was over dropping some parts off at the Haus Of Trikes the other day and a customer has a K-9 in there with a major belt issue! I thought they had installed that NEW Micro belt from BDM!!!:roll:

Just thought I'd pop some pics of it to share on here, maybe the owner will raise his hand if he hangs here in the Dog House. I don't know who the owner is, but some other shop did some "alignment adjustments" and didn't do it quite right!:roll: :roll: :roll:

Less drivetrain parasitic loss, makes perfect sense! The reflectors are for when the belt snaps and that semi is crawling right up your ass.

WOW....what caused it or how did it happen

I was back over there today and was helping them figure it out. The pulley had been replaced and it had a different offset to it than the stock pulley. It came with a shim that spaced it out but did so way to far witch made the belt "walk" outward and ate the belt up.

The shop made a thinner shim and it lined up great after that.

Must have been that proprietary pulley that was replaced!
