Im a lil late getting it done this year but its done. Changed all 3 oils, used Spectro in the primary and trans and Mobile one in the motor. Adjusted clutch and cable. Put in a slam button and cleaned contacts. Took right controls apart and shimmed up starter and On buttons, No more lag and starter problems. Just went on a short 20 mile run, forgot how fast that she was! Only problem I had, and was just bragging on how much I liked my blue speedo, but it didn't work. Its registering between 0 and 20 mph sporadically. Might have moved some wires around when I put in slam button idk will check it out.

The CAT-V plug on mine will work loose periodically.

I haven't heard of a slam button, could you fill me in on what that is/does? Thanks.

Starter button that goes on the end of the starter. Backup or primary in case starter controls go out. Check it out Curtis's store. Super simple.

Some people use them as their primary start. I put it cause I was having problems with the on and start buttons (wore out) went in and shimmed up works perfect now.
