I know it's kind of an old topic, but never wanted them before. Who currently makes/sells the best quality magnetic head bolt covers? I'm not looking for spikes, just regular button (flat top) chrome covers.

Thanks guys,

I've never heard of magnetic head bolt covers! Seems like it would have to be pretty damn strong magnet for them to stay on...

I'll be watching this thread since I was ready to buy the set-screw type for mine.

I use exactly what your describing. I bought mine at R&B cycles (Big Dog Dealer) in Nashville. $52 plus tax. They actually suggested them over the set screw "BDM" covers. Said guys were loing them. I have had mine since August and they havnt budged. I had to loosen the ignition the get the two inside ones on, so it is impossible for them to come off anyway. I think they were S&S brand but cant remember for sure.

If you decide on spikes Lowdownchopshop has the spikes that clear the coil cover. no need to take it off,i have seen some that are a little too big...

Last I knew, S&S and I were the only two making magnetic headbolt covers WITHOUT set screws.

Mine being spiked, S&S's being just domed style.
