I need that little magnet that goes on the front brake control. Not the one on the circuit board but the one on the control itself. Any idea where I might be able to get one besides BDM dealer.

Thanks

Do you know what size it is?
I have a few types of magnets here, if I know the size I bet I can find what you need and send it out to you.

It's the same size as the one one the right side circuit board. I would guess that it is about as big around as an 8 penny nail and 1/2 inch long. :D

Carlos - I switched over to a banjo switch on my front brake. If I can get the little fucker out you can have mine. Lisa is going to LA on Monday so can take it with her and send to you.

Thanks Lee, that is what happened to mine. I was trying to take it out (replacing Levers) and I crushed it with the vise grips :lol: . Where can I get a banjo switch for mine, I like that idea. I don't know how that works but I would rather have something like that then be looking for magnets all the time. PM me a picture of your set up and maybe I will go that route myself. On the other hand if you don't mind Lee I'll take yours for now maybe I can be a little more carefull trying to get it out this time  I will PM you my address

Thanks a bunch bro I owe you one

you don't owe me anything

The banjo is literally just that - a banjo bolt with a built in switch, exactly like the one on the rear caliper. You should be able to pick one up at any dealership. You can either put it in the caliper or the hand control (I think the threads might be the same but don't quote me on that). I put mine in the front caliper but you obviously have the wires attached. I stopped worrying about the looks of my bike a long time ago so I just ran the cables inside some shrink wrap and cabled tied it to the brake line. Doesn't look as clean as some would like but not too bad either

Thanks Lee I got your PM. I have looked around the Internet and sure enough there are seveal ways to switch over to a banjo switch. I am going to find the best way to do this so as to keep a clean look.
