my brother bought a big dog and was riding it home and the tail light come loose so he shut the bike off and went to start it back up when he hit the start button the head light goes out and nothing happens is there an antitheft on these bike factory or is it something else

No factory antitheft - some have the Scorpio aftermarket unit. Based on the info, I would say start by checking the battery for proper voltage and other connections for shorts. Depending on model year, you should also check the ehc fault lights
