Firstly we would all like to thank you for your messages and photos you have sent Luke the over the past couple of days, it really means a lot and it has certainly cheered him up no end.
After a shaky start to the day, he finally had is operation and although he is still very tired (as are we all) and in a lot of pain, it looks like he could possibly be home sooner rather than later.
He has today successfully had a large growth in his stomach removed which was actually found by chance, (really long story) and although it has been sent off for analysis as procedure, the surgeon is confident it is not cancerous. As you can imagine, we have all been going through hell here over the past weeks and today feels like a huge weight has been lifted off our shoulders.
He is going to be out of action for a while, but hopefully all the problems this was causing him over the past year will finally go and he will get back to his normal self.
He is now on the road to recovery and a massive "THANK YOU" to you all again. :2thumbs:
