have anyone tried this in your tranny,just curious this is on the shelf everywhere around here versus redline I had to order,1 week to get willing to wait a week if I need to

if you search these fourms you will find just about every type of debate on the type and viscosity of the trans fluid. I think the recent recommendation was redline heavy shockproof but there are others

6. TRANSMISSION FLUID: Fill transmission fluid
with 20-24 fluid oz of gear oil. The following oils
can be used:
RedlineTM “Heavy Shock Proof”
SpectroTM 75w 140spl
Bel RayTM 80w 90
TorcoTM 85w 140
Screaming EagleTM 20w 50

It seems like it should work fine though!!

Baker transmission has switched from redline oil now to spectro. I talked to FatHead at Baker and he said they recommend Spectro 75w140 gear oil and 20w50 for the motor and primary and you can use synthetic. I use redline v-twin heavy shockproof.
