So the one disadvantage to the LSD is the primary hangs over far enough it will drag on the ground in a turn. Anybody come across a skid plat that works protects the rear of the primary?

I've never had the primary drag on the Pit. It got scuffed from almost falling over tho... I've drug pegs and pipes on the right side....

Agreed never on the rigid either. Pegs should grind before the primary on the left side. I assume it's an issue with the shocks not the design. It probably grinds a little as the rear end is trailing down just happens to be the road or the angle and pressure.

I would replace the shocks or you can try to adjust them a bit.

I actually can't recall anyone mentioning even on the older softail models.

Is yours dragging or was it scuffed up when you got it.

I must of dragged it in a turn. The very back bolt and tab have some road rash and I know it was not there a yr ago because I redid the primary.

It is possible that maybe i scrapped in on a bump in a turn or turning and going up a hill. Maybe Shannon can mill me something. HE seems bored all the time.

What is the distance of the primary to ground when the bike is upright.

I'm just curious about the lean angle it takes to scrape
