low miles using oil

I just hit 6200 miles and I've used 4oz (120ml) of oil since my 5000 mile oil change. Scares the crap outa me. Am I overly concerned?

doesn't sound too excessive to me. Just keep your eye on it as you are doing.

I found out my dealer slightly "under-fills" at oil changes and I usually have to add up to 1/3 quart soon after. I check tire pressure and oil level after every couple rides, and believe in keeping oil topped off to insure max protection for that air cooled engine.:up:

I agree, I check every time I ride and add even if its a couple cap fulls. Better safe ya know..... Just keep track and fill to the exact same spot. I roll the bike up strait the set it back down and some times it goes down just doing that!:2thumbs:
