Loving new BDM "Medallion" Speedo

I bought the new retro "medallion" Speedo for my 08 K-9.

I like it, washed the bike a few times since installing, no problems with fogging up.

Worth the money to me..

You could do it yourself, it didn't look that hard. The speedo came with instructions.

I took my Dog to Britt Motorsports in Wilmington, NC. They have several mechanics there, but they have one certain guy they let work on Big Dogs. His name is "Carlos", He did a great job and was a nice guy to deal with.

I've seen the Dakota up close and personal. Nice piece. But for me, I waited on the BDM speedo. With the BDM, you get analog and digital readings.

I assume it fits into the original factory Bigdog speedo housing...........

I like that it replaces the annunciator board (tack bargraph and indicator LEDs), so with one install, you remedy any future problems, unlike the Dakota Digital version.

Does it come with an upper visor ring? Can someone show a side angle view picture.

This first link is the mode I would use most often with RPM on the main analog gauge.

Take the old speedo out and put the new one in, comes with connectors, wiring, etc and great installation instructions.

Good Question! I was thinking that to...I really like this speedo :2thumbs: The way that looks,It should fit an 03 ok...

That's the same setup that came on my new K9 250. I use analog for RPM & digital MPH.

I ordered one last Thrusday and they will set the miles before shipping. They also said that I would receive it in three working days. Hope they are right.
