Mr Wright is correct! I run Martin Brother medusa pipes and they are extremely loud! And as this is your lucky day I picked up a pair that was for sale by someone going through some hard times. I’ve been running them now on my BDM for about 10 yrs now and absolutely love them! 5B048740-6FEE-476F-AD6B-6D128B062800.jpeg

The set for sale is in fantastic shape, I’ll take $375.00 plus shipping. That’s a fantastic deal! They were $700 new.

Usually unbaffled pipes, straight, curved or short are the worst things you can put on a street riding bike. They play hell on the tune up, and everything involved to get the tune up right. :oldangry:
If you go the straight pipe route, be sure you can put baffles in them when you realize you made a mistake by installing them in the first place.
Also, I can prove to anyone with a STREET driven bike and straight pipes, that I can improve rideability by using muffled pipes, or a 2 into 1 header.;)

I won’t argue, the super G carb absolutely hated my intake and the MB probably caused me to loose 5 HP. But the Mikuni 48 gave me 15HP and my bike is LOUD AS HELL!!! So WTF... who cares!! I’m happy!!! It’s my bike, it has never once won POTM! But I go fire the Black Bitch up and for 15 years she has not failed me! Did I mention how easy this awesome Mikuni is to tune! Also when I go to higher elevations, it takes me 5 seconds at a red light to adjust my idle with my right hand while my left holds in my BDL lock up clutch! Everyone said that was impossible too! BDL sets the standards for open primary for top fuel drag bikes! Not Baker, Not Karada.......Belt Drive Limited does.73D9374B-1532-4358-AEB4-0814C4F73F5F.jpeg73D9374B-1532-4358-AEB4-0814C4F73F5F.jpeg
