...a varistor. By definition. With the values and the rectangle on the schematic, I would say those are resistors......
Agreed. Look over to the right of those and you can see the squiggly lines that's a resistor symbol too. They must have drawn them different for a reason.Eric, I think you are correct....however, most rectangles on schematics are resistors, but I'm thinking your explanation is better.....
It's a thermistor I believe,WHAT THE FUCK IS THIS SYMBOL ?? it's all over the schematic

At first glance you would think so ..but come on Chubs, whats a thermistor doing on a speedo sensor or a brake light? You're better than that! It's a thermistor I believe,
Thermistors also regulate voltages and amperages through different temperature ranges. Some regulate according to the temperature of the circuit. I believe that is what happens when the bike won't start till ya heat it up with a heat gun?At first glance you would think so ..but come on Chubs, whats a thermistor doing on a speedo sensor or a brake light? You should have very clean DC from the battery directly and didn't you run dedicated power and ground to the sensor, from the battery already?Nope, the speedo has not been replaced. The tach (Autometer) Curtice's mount etc. I'm going to do a bridge rectifier
to pull any AC voltage from the alternator, this means pure clean DC voltage. That's where I am as of now, all I have
to do is find the right Radio Shack ???? IF that's possible here in ReDnEcK city
I have been told that the EHC sends +12 volts but who knows what Dog did?
A resistor makes sense for the LED's, OH, I did call Autometer and they said those
speedo's ( 02, 03 ) "should be 12 volt without resistors" I'm even thinking about
A NEW Autometer speedometer, at least IT will have a warranty.
X2Mine did the same thing, I just replaced it with a Dakota Digital $217
