Lost my wing man

Well the day I've been dreading arrived yesterday. My Bulldog, Gus (see my avatar), of 10 years, passed away yesterday. Extremely painful for me to see but at least I was with him when he died. He wasn't ill and just died of old age.

I never cried when my brother died or when my dad died but I certainly cried a few times yesterday watching him struggle until he died around three in the afternoon. The vet was on the way but thankfully he went before the vet got there so I didn't have to make the decision for him to be put to sleep.

RIP Gussy - you won't be forgotten
